Maima & Satu Tani’sperformance features peculiar creatures tinkering in a neuro-weird future.

Satu Tani (b. 1984) is visual artist from Helsinki. Tani is fascinated to combining performance elements with spatial works and also old craft methods with a twist of quirkiness. In recent years art works and performances have been often made in co-operation with Maima Tani, Satu’s sibling.

Maima (Maria) Tanilives in Helsinki and works at home, with Maima’s visual artists sister shared workspace and at Autism Foundation Finland’s Vallila Art Studio, Kehä festival in Oulu, Herlbony Art Prize-exhibition in Tokio, Art Brut Biennale Hengelos, Outsider Art festival in Helsinki and Kaarisilta Biennale.
