Mini Zine Workshop

Welcome to a walk-in mini zine workshop! In this workshop, you’ll create your own small publication—no prior experience is needed. Come and make a mini memoir, pamphlet, guidebook, story, or artwork! Comic artist Emmi Valve will guide you in folding your mini zine and developing your ideas.

Zines are self-published, free-form small publications that are easy to make and reproduce on your own. The workshop lasts approximately 60 minutes, and you can participate in a way that suits you. The Oulu Comics Center will kindly provide all the materials needed for the workshop. The workshop will take place after Emmi Valve’s artist talk, in the same space at Valveen Paljetti café.

No advance registration is required, and participation is free of charge. The workshop is held in Finnish.
